Seersucker is a fabric with a waffle-like appearance achieved by weaving very tight and loose threads.

Originally, it was a blend of silk and cotton, but today it is found almost exclusively in 100% cotton.

It is very popular in summer due to its lightness, both in the weight of the threads used, and because the waffle weave allows air to circulate better between the garment and the skin.

Since the waffle weave is linked to the weaving method, it does not shift during machine washing.
